Landed at Heathrow airport around 6am. Very pleasant and fast immigration clearance. Make sure you complete the landing card properly, stating full address of stay in UK. If possible to standby a return ticket and a travel insurance especially if travelling with an elderly.
You will see the sign of direction for EU and non EU countries for immigration clearance, so go to the non EU for Malaysian passport.
As usual, I got the most economical way to travel to central London, which is London train service using Picadilly line, which cost around 3.50Pound for 1 way. From the arrival area, we walked down to lower floor to get to the train. Prior to that i get my osyter card topped up with credit.

Journey around 1 hour, passing by more than 20 stops. The last stop was King's Cross station, where i came out and walked to Mit's apartment (Monica Shaw Court) around 200 mtres from King Cross station. When I reached Central London, the city was very cold. It was around 2 C and was raining. Really need a proper attire which includes inner thermal cloth, jumper, winter coat, a woolen scarf or a cap to keep warm in this weather.

Wake up early today to catch train to Lee Valley VeloPark. taking International Train from St Pancras International/ King Cross Station to Stradford International, which stopped at Westfied. The ticket price was around 11Pounds for a return ticket.
Westfield is a big mall with many branded outlets.
Today we participated in end of the year run organized by runthroughuk.
It was quite a cold morning and very windy.
Hurrah, running in cold day was not as easy like running in tropic weather. The body took very long to get warmed and heated. The legs were easily got cramped. ouchh. whatever it is, I still enjoy it very much and plan to have more running in cold country.
Made some shopping at Sainsbury opposite Westfield Mall, Bought some coffee beans to bring back to Malaysia. Definitely more choices and cheaper in London.
Lavazza Coffee Bean was around 4Pounds.
Kenco instant coffee powder for about 2.5 Pound. Shopping for some blouses at Mark and Spencer Outlet and Waitrose for some food.
We had our lunch at Malaysian Cuisine Restaurant called Lotus. It was great fried noodles and Kung Poa chicken with rice.
Heading back King Cross for shower before going to Oxford Street again, for last minutes shopping. Had tea and tasty and beautifully decorated cakes at Cafe Concerto.
Walk around Selfridges before saying goodbye. Tomorrow early morning will leave for flight to Kuala Lumpur.
Tonight, we had delicious home cook cuisine. Spicy raw salmon with chilies, lime and onion, Grilled Scotland beef, chicken soup with 'Sarawak terung asam'. The best dinner, before long haul flight the next morning.
