The most awaited trip Auckland Winter is here. This is my 3rd trip to New Zealand. July 2019(Winter) Auckland Rotorua ( North Island) and April 2022(Autumn) South Island which includes Christchurch, Queenstown, Franz Josef. Queenstown is one of the best destinations that I would love to go again.
Departing from KLIA to Auckland around 9pm at night and landed at Auckland around 11am. The flight journey was around 12 hours trip. I just preferred at night flight, where I could have good sleep and wake up in other country to explore.
Upon arrival at Auckland, I could breath a fresh breezy air in New Zealand. New Zealand is a country with strict immigration clearance. Proper documentations of passport, arrival authorization and declaration of items brought into the country. Strict no plants or animal product allowed to be brought into the country. I brought some instant coffee and instant noodles which I have to declare.

Arrival at Auckland Airport, as my previous trip to New Zealand, I booked early transport from Airport direct to Hotel using supershuttle New Zealand. It is a minivan, with few passengers in the van. The passengers will be brought to their respective hotel. The journey around 1 hour, and I reached the hotel around 1pm afternoon.
This is at Viaduct Harbour around the hotel
After check in to the hotel room, I managed to walk and explore around the hotel. I really like the area, near the harbour, many cafes, pubs and restaurants around it. The place was not too crowded with traffic and car.
Few 5 stars hotelsurrounding were Sofitel and Hyattt. I choosed to be a mid range but extremely great and value for money Travelodge Hotel.
Around 4pm, i took an Uber e hailing to go for dinner with friends at One Tree Seafood. Met my long friend in university.

The cruise and journey to weiheke island around 45 minutes. Weiheke is a small island with small community on this quiet and peaceful island. They have their own radio station, library and shops on the island. Many people who live at Weiheke commute daily to work in Auckland.
